CONCERNING FAIR HOUSING
On December 9, 1980, the City Council of the City of Live Oak, Florida adopted Ordinance No. 641, which established the policy of the City to promote equal opportunity to obtain adequate housing by all persons, regardless of race, color, religion, ancestry, sex, place of birth, physical handicap or national origin. On December 10, 1991, the City Council of the City of Live Oak, Florida adopted an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 641 to add familial status as a protected class from discrimination in the sale or rental of housing.
These ordinances are available for public inspection at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall located at 101 Southeast White Avenue, Live Oak, Florida 32064, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
Any aggrieved person may file a complaint of a housing discrimination act with the:
