Requests for City Zoning Data on Parcels of Land

Pursuant to the adopted Land Development Regulations:

Official Zoning Atlas of the land development regulations. Shall mean the current and up to date data found on the GIS based mapping computer software maintained by the Land Development Regulation Administrator (City Development Manager), superseded only on a parcel by parcel basis, by any legally adopted ordinance of zoning district amendment, in which said change has not yet been updated and reflected on said GIS based map.

To request the zoning of a location:

    1. Only locations within the Incorporated City Limits of Live Oak, Florida are under our jurisdiction. For locations in the unincorporated County, please contact the Suwannee County Planning and Zoning Department at (386) 364-3401. 
    2. If you are unsure which jurisdiction the property is in, please call the City Planning and Zoning Department at (386) 362-2276.
    3. Requests for City zoning may be submitted by phone (386) 362-2276, or by email to: loannex@cityofliveoak.org
    4. The request will need to include the Property Appraiser Tax Parcel number, and if available, the official 911 address including street direction. 
    5. Requests will be processed in the order received.
    6. All responses will be in writing for documentation purposes. Please provide an email to respond to, a fax number, a mailing address or make arrangements to pick up the information in person from the City Hall Annex at 416 Howard Street E. 
    7. Printed zoning maps from the GIS software can be provided upon request, with fees payable according to the most recent adopted fee schedule.
